Pete and I just visited our old stomping grounds, Toronto (cue the song Memories, played at half speed). We hung out quite a bit at the supercool, super space-age condo of our friends Robbie and Walter. Robbie is an incredibly talented graphic designer that I used to work with. Anyway, the guys' passion for '60s and '70s minimalism is apparent in every room, every detail. If anyone deserves to be chosen to live on a space station (you know, when the Earth finally blows up), it's these two. I'm sure they'll bring some style to the joint. I have an addiction. Okay, I have TWO addictions. The first one is potato chips. The second one is second-hand shopping. When Pete and I were in the TDot, we checked on our semi-detached house, which is rented by our friend Jessica. For as long as I've known her, Jessica has had a wonderfully quirky, spot-on fashion sense, so I'm not surprised that it translates to her home environment. When Pete and I moved from Toronto to Vancouver three years ago, we came with virtually nothing (exception: a small but sassy Boston named Rudie, pictured above).
