Ever been to Kingston, Ontario? Oh, you really must go. Then again, I'm biased, because it's my hometown. It also just happens to be the hometown of Sir John A. MacDonald, Canada's first Prime Minister. If you ever do visit, check out Bellevue House, where Sir John lived with his wife, the tragic Isabella. It's a charming example of 1840s architecture, with plenty of historical detail and design inspiration. For those who can't make it, don't worry, I've snapped a few pictures. Come, let's take a Victorian Turkish-carpet ride back in time, shall we?
