About Me.
We all have our vices. I like chips, a lot. In fact, if loving chips is wrong, I don't wanna be right. I guess it's better than blowing our family's savings on drinking, or gambling, or buying counterfeit Bratz dolls on Ebay.
The 'paint' part of PAINTchip comes from my other addiction, art and design. My triggers range from the perfect brushstroke of a painting, to the line of a chair leg, to a really well-crafted potato chip (see, I can't stop thinking about them).
I'm always on the hunt for good movies, and good TV series. I also love to read, and lately, to write. I've been a few places on the globe but hanker to see more. I like a wide variety of food outside of the chip realm. I spend way too much time in thrift stores, consignment stores, and junk shops.
I'm a graphic designer/illustrator/animator who has worked for a wide variety of media. In 2012, my life partner (co-pilot, as I like to refer to him) Pete and I moved from Toronto to Vancouver with nothing more than a dream and our Boston Terrier (RIP Rudie). Soon after we landed, we added a new member to our family: a baby girl that gets cuter and more opinionated every day, kind of like her mom.
I don't have any tattoos, and living in Vancouver, that makes me a social outcast. A chip-eating, blogging, tattoo-less outcast.
Ah well, my chips love me, and they will never judge.
